Conto Termico 2.0

Conto Termico 2.0 is an Italian non-refundable incentive designed to support the increase of energy efficiency and the production of thermal energy from renewable sources. With the Conto Termico 2.0 is in fact possible to upgrade existing buildings to improve their energy performance, reducing consumption and recovering quickly part of the expenditure incurred. Funds amounting to 900 million euros are available each year to both public and private entities, of which 200 million are dedicated exclusively to the Public Administration.

Certimac's Energy Division has prepared this Guide to help possible beneficiaries of the Conto Termico 2.0 to obtain incentive financing.

900 million euros per year

The beneficiaries are mainly Public Administrations, but also companies and private individuals, who will be able to access funds for 900 million euros per year, of which 200 million are allocated to PA.

Grant contributions of up to 65%

For heat pumps, hybrid heat pump systems, and solar thermal systems.

100% financing for expenses incurred for the Energy Diagnosis and EPC

Conto termico 2.0 finances 100% of the expenses for the Energy Diagnosis and the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) for Public Administrations (and the ESCOs that operate on their behalf) and 50% for private entities and cooperatives of inhabitants and social ones.

Incentives paid in annual installments

The incentives are paid by the GSE in the form of constant annual installments lasting between 2 and 5 years, depending on the type of intervention and its size, or in a single payment, if the amount of the total benefit recognized does not exceed 5,000 euros.

Cumulative incentive

The Conto Termico 2.0 can be combined with other incentives of a non-state nature and within the scope of the interventions indicated above.
